IJM Land Celebrates 30 Years of Seremban 2: A Legacy of Community, Growth, and Togetherness

WHAT truly makes a place feel like home? For thousands of families across generations, the answer lies in Seremban 2 (S2) by IJM Land, a township that has grown over 30 years from quiet estates into a thriving, close-knit, self-sustaining community filled with life, laughter and belonging.

The story of Seremban 2 began in 1995 when IJM Land, together with the Negri Sembilan state government (PKNNS), envisioned more than just a township.

Chai shared that over the years, families have journeyed alongside Seremban 2 — some buying their very first homes here, others moving into larger spaces as their needs grew and many investing in new phases as the township flourished. “The loyalty of our residents speaks volumes,” he added. “It tells us that Seremban 2 has always been about more than just building houses; it has been about building lives.”

Today, 20% of Seremban 2’s homebuyers are repeat purchasers, families who have chosen to stay, upgrade and invest again because they believe in the community they call home.

Over the years, Seremban 2 has also continued to attract a growing number of buyers from the Klang Valley, many of whom have chosen to make Seremban 2 their permanent address.

As Seremban 2 celebrates three decades of growth, the story is far from over.

The township continues to evolve with new landmarks such as Ikon Residences, Seremban 2’s first integrated high-rise development, set to bring modern living to the heart of the community.
