At IJM Land, operational excellence is a hallmark of our efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability. Our commitment to sustainability is demonstrated by how we incorporate it throughout all areas of IJM Land’s operations. In being driven by industry standards, we remain cognisant of the economic, social and ecological effects of our business activities along the entire value chain.

With this holistic view, our processes and systems are retrofitted to continuously secure a sustainable future with customers, partners, employees and communities. We have taken meaningful steps to advance our decarbonisation strategy, which includes evaluating our value chain emissions, increasing our energy efficiency, investing in renewable energy generation, and reducing use of natural gas.

Our reaffirmation of IJM Land’s net-zero goals comes by fleet electrification for our operations nationwide. On top of achieving an estimated carbon reduction of 50.06 tonnes per year, this transition from internal combustion engine (ICE) motorcycles to electric vehicle (EV) bikes will ensure Internet of Vehicles (IoV)-based usability and enhanced performance for our employees in security, maintenance and dispatch.

We believe that by leveraging on low carbon mobility solutions such as EV bikes, we are better equipped to deliver high-quality offerings and services while maximising the potential of our employees. As Team IJM Land, we are dedicated to foster a Distinctively IJM culture of excellence that shines through every stakeholder engagement.

Patrolling by our IJM Land security personnel is enhanced by smart features that come with EV bikes such as real-time tracking and cameras.
By running on electrical power, EV bikes not only contribute significantly to lower carbon emissions but also increases cost efficiency as compared to petrol.
Performance monitoring and data generation for carbon reporting is made possible through backend telematics.
